The AudioSapiens

Hathor Hendrix is a performing/healing artist, personal trainer, culture conservationist, and holistic health enthusiast based in Dallas, TX.  Months after completing her Bachelors in Business Management, Hathor made a decision that would change her life forever. Her first choice was to stick to the original plan, continue on to law school and become a powerful attorney or follow her passion for the performing arts, cultivate her gifts and abilities then create a career from it. Although both paths were rewarding, one was motivated by the approval of her parents and peers, and the other purpose and passion.

She had to ask herself whether or not she wanted to continue to live inside of her head or with all of her heart. Hathor chose her to follow her heart into the next chapter of her life. The first step was to improve her physical health being a descendant of a family history that included; diabetes, high blood pressure, cancer, congestive heart failure, mental illness, and chronic arthritis. Those odds, in addition to her current situation of her "freshman 15" which like her, had graduated to an extra 65 lbs, she knew changes had to be made in order to improve her quality of life as well as it's longevity.

After successfully losing 40 lbs by working out and  after conducting much research, Hathor converted to a completely vegan/plant based lifestyle in 2011 resulting in the loss of 30 more pounds. It also supported in reversing her eczema, reoccurring migraines, and IBS (irritable bowel syndrome) which she had suffered from since childhood. Her success both physically through exercise and mentally through self discipline proved to her that movement was in fact medicine. This inspired her desire to give guidance, insight, support, and encouragement to others on their journey to become the best version of themselves.

After conditioning and healing herself physically, her next step was confronting her best friend and greatest adversary, mastering her mind. Having spent most of her life living up to the expectations of others, Hathor embarked on a journey of self awareness and self discovery, getting to know herself from the inside out; the good, the bad, and the ugly. Her soul searching led her to exploring metaphysics, spirituality/religion, world history, psychology, sociology, and sexuality finding the connection to herself as well as the rest of the world.

She realized that she felt most balanced when she was able to use her knowledge to artistically express herself as she began to practice, West African dance, belly dance, yoga, mental health awareness, as well as traditional and indigenous healing practices. All of her experiences have brought her to this point of sharing the love she found in her self with the world. Her mission is to provide support and guidance to those who desire to transition to a holistic lifestyle by empowering them with the tools necessary to cultivate and expand their state of well being; physically, mentally, and spiritually.
